The meeting was called to order at approximately 11:20 a.m.., with FASC Senate President Bill Fitzgerald presiding. There are 33 Senators, including 3 officers and four senators-at-large. Of the 42 voting members, 30 were present. A quorum was met.

- Chancellor plans to start strategic planning process this summer
- Subcommittees on faculty governance
- No traction yet
- Develop clear vision of what shared governance is
- Regular meetings needed
- Combine both committees into one
- Create larger committee to discus issues with RCM, diversity hiring, etc.
